August 16, 2011 7-9pm: Introduction to Shamanic Journeying
You don’t have to be a shaman to learn this beautiful life-changing skill that opens your awareness to direct experience of the unseen realms. People from all cultures and religious backgrounds have been able to access their inner Wisdom and spiritual guidance through this method of deepening their spiritual practice. $20 pre-registered, $30 walk-in.
September 6 – 27, 2011 (4 Tuesdays) 7-9pm: Shamanic Tools for Self-Transformation
In this 4-session, experiential series, we focus on personal wholeness, transformation, integration, and "enlightenment" from a shamanic point of view. Specific topics to be covered will be determined based on the level of journeying facility and experience of the group's participants. We will be completing at least one journey in every session. $80 if pre-registered by August 15, $95 after that (if space allows).

November 15, 2011, 7-9pm: The Unquiet Dead (And Other Things That Go Bump in the Night)

Sometimes those whose bodies have died don’t make a smooth transition into the Light; rather, they remain earthbound in a disembodied limbo state. Lonely and bewildered, these spirits often attach themselves to the energy fields of living “hosts”, where their thoughts and desires end up bleeding through to the living, who interpret them as being their own. In this class, you will learn how to identify and compassionately release those earthbound spirit beings, as well as some of the “other things” you may encounter along the way.
December 13, 2011, 7-9pm: Embracing the Gifts of the Shadow
By suppressing any “negative” qualities or characteristics, we also weaken their “positive” opposites: by denying our ugliness, we lessen our beauty; by hiding our fear, we undermine our courage; by refusing our helplessness, we diminish our power. If we banish even a single aspect of ourselves, we cannot be whole. $20 pre-registered, $30 walk-in.
January 10, 2012, 7-9pm: Becoming the Hero of Your Own StoryEvery one of us is given the invitation to the Hero’s Journey sometime in our lives, but putting it off or waiting for someone else to rescue us keeps us stuck in the victim role. Being the heroes of our own Stories requires that we be willing to go beyond integrating the “monsters” of our disowned Shadow aspects and dissociated soul parts: we must also learn how to step out of the Victim-Drama Triangle. As the Buddha once said, “No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.”
$20 pre-registered, $30 walk-in.
